PARENTS OF ALL SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN please come for some fellowship and some information regarding next year’s Sunday school program on July 7th from 6 to 7 PM in Good Shepherd Hall. We have been busy planning the 2010-2011 Sunday School year and we would like to share some news with you! Bring your children with you, for some planned activities with high school leaders. Come find out about our Summer Pool Party, Sunday School Kick Off Event, and when Sunday School will start. We will also announce our Heifer totals and our theme for the 2010-2011 school year. And much more… Please join us for a time of fellowship.

MEALS ON WHEELS. Lake Edge has routes 4 and 5 for the Sundays in July for Meals on Wheels. Each Sunday, two volunteers are needed for Route 4 and Route 5. The meals are picked up at the San Damaiano Friary at 4123 Monona Drive at 11:30 am. Thank you.

HEALTH KIT COLLECTION. We, again, are collecting items for Health Kits for Lutheran World Relief. Last year we sent 140 Health Kits to LWR. Our biggest need right now is dark-colored washcloths. A basket is available on the bottom shelf of the bookcase- across from the bulletin board, for your contributions. Thank you.

SAVE THE DATE- TUESDAY, JULY 20TH AT 6 PM. All women (friends and neighbors, too) are invited to our Summer Bible Study. It will be a Salad/Dessert Pot Luck at 6 pm followed by the study about “Patience and Hope” led by Pastor Gary Hein. Looking forward to your presence. WELCA Board.

SERMON ACTIVITY LEADERS NEEDED Pastor Dick and Pastor Shirley will be on sabbatical (Shirley) and vacation some Sundays during the summer. We're going to continue offering sermon activities for young children during the summer worship services and could use your help planning and leading activities. The children love playing games, doing crafts, singing songs, reading books, etc. The activity doesn’t have to be related to the Bible lessons for the day. If you’re interested in leading a 10 to 12-minute sermon activity for the children, please sign up on the bulletin board at church.
